Senior Technical Consultant (NetSuite) Job Description
The Senior NetSuite Technical Consultant is a critical role within our organization, responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of custom solutions and integrations within the NetSuite platform. This position involves working closely with clients to understand their business needs, providing technical expertise, and ensuring successful project delivery. The Senior NetSuite Technical Consultant will also mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of our NetSuite practice.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead pre-sales activities including technical validation, scoping and estimation
- Gather business/technical requirements through discover and analysis
- Lead consultants in transforming business requirements and process into a technical solution
- Facilitate discovery, design, development, and deployment activities for NetSuite Scripts (SuiteFlow, SuiteScript and SuiteTalk)
- Design and implement NetSuite scripts, produce technical design documents, participate in technical walkthroughs, conduct code reviews and conduct UAT for complex solutions
- Deliver NetSuite solutions including customizations, scripting and integration with 3rd party software, reporting, data migration, go live
- Apply development and performance best practices in defining custom solutions on NetSuite's SuiteCloud platform
- Oversee the end-to-end implementation of NetSuite projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the solutions.
- Exercise judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations.
- Provide guidance for technical support and troubleshooting for NetSuite solutions.
- Services as a point of escalation to address and resolve technical issues and bugs reported by clients.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for custom solutions and integrations.
- Work closely with functional consultants, project managers, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for clients to enhance their understanding and usage of NetSuite.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Lead and participate in team meetings, sharing knowledge and best practices with colleagues.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Other tasks that may be assigned as a Senior NetSuite Technical consultant
